NYAAAAAAA!!!!

I can make bizarrely huge cakes appear out of nowhere simply by going all Dragon Ball :P

This is Epic Battle, a silly comic Virmir draws when he has the free time for it, and when people bug him too much that he can't say no ;)

Also, did i just post a journal?... And in the same subject as the previous one as well?

Many people know by now that i love bakery, pastry and the like. I left that clear to the point that Virmir drew me baking a cake on his Sketch Month :P
He then proceeded to clean the lineart and add the shadows (since i still can't make them look any good), and send the PSD my way as a birthday present (Which btw, was last Thursday :P)

It took me about an hour or so to color it, and this is the result ^_^

Baker Cat

I'm thinking about making an avatar out of this :P

I just got this cool avatar from djinni on the Icon Day he ran yesterday (and today as well). I'm really happy with it, thanks a lot Tod :)

Also, thanks to virmir who let me make this one based on one of the characters from his comic, Giles:

It was originally a red fox, but using my 1337 Photoshop skills (AKA, just changed a few colors here and there) i made him look a bit more wolfish :D

I was bored and playing with Photoshop and this idea came to my mind.
I've seen many fancy images on many user's story submissions acting as a thumbnail for something that is not an image, and as such i decided i wanted to make one for my own submissions.

Google Images is the best site for this kind of situation, and as usual it delivered as a raw material source, heh.
So, after searching for 10 minutes and putting my poor PS skills to use for about an hour, i made this four prototypes.
They are pretty similar, save for two details

Here they are:

Open them in a new window/tab to see them in full size. Also, ignore the aliasing :P

I want your opinion, which one do you like the most?

Today i went to the doctor and got the stitchs removed. Everything is fine, and i can eat whatever i want now.

The first week was tough though. A lot of pain whenever i made some weird movement, bend down or any kind of physical effort. Also a very strict diet, the worst part of all this, at least in my opinion :P (I loathe diets, limiting you on what to eat...).

All in all it was a very good and fast recovery, as usual with this kind of surgery (Laparoscopy).
If it take the needed precautions I'll get no scars, or at least one not very noticeable
, so I'm very pleased with the outcome.

In other news, I'm in the process of upgrading my PC. Lots of RAM, new CPU and Motherboard = Happy Cougar :D
I may post more info on this later.

Yes, you got it right. I need a gallbladder operation if I want to avoid unnecessary troubles...
The date for it is already set. Just let me check the calendar... January 12, 12:00 hours... DAH! That's Tomorrow!!

Tomorrow morning I'm entering the clinic and by noon I will have surrendered before Morpheus's power (sadly, not that of morphine :P...).
It's supposed to be an easy and trouble-less operation, and also one with a really short healing period. I should be out the clinic by Tuesday noon, and after that I'll have give my body three or four weeks to adapt to the fact It's missing an organ by simply avoiding food that may cause me an indigestion.

This is the first time I'll have an operation, and I'm quite nervous about it. It should be a formality, but even so nothing will take out of my mind the horrific thought that I'll be facing the scalpel in about 12 hours...

One could say there is no reason for me to make an introduction entry, since it's most likely that those who end up reading this is because they actually know me, heh.
Nonetheless, It works as an excuse to add some content to the journal :P

I go by the pen/nick name of Daemon Pontos, or Pontos for short (and used most of the time). Not too long ago I started participating on the furry fandom. Until that moment I simply lurked around the usual places and enjoyed the content you can usually find on them (Writing, art, graphic novels and comics, etc).
Since my drawing skills are mediocre at best, I decided to contribute with my own ideas and writing, hoping for people to enjoy them as much as I enjoyed (and keep doing so) those from the rest.

The starting point for this is the shared setting known as Metamor Keep.
Up to now I've submitted two stories, with a third one soon to be completed, constituting my own storyline and introducing my own characters (main and storyline dependant), locations, and both past and current events.
If you never heard of it or didn't actually read any of the stories featured on it, give it a try. It's really worth it.

If all goes as I intended, my MK stories will not be the only tales I will ever write. I have plans and plot ideas for standalone projects (be it short stories of full fledged novels) but most of those are still in the draw-board, as well as waiting for me to polish my writing skills a bit and to improve my writing pace between chapters (to give you an idea, NaNoWriMo would be overkill for me right now :P).
Also, I don't want to put myself in a compromise I don't know if i will be able to fulfill >_<
When that moment comes I will be making a personal website to host all my writing, but for now, the MK Archive is enough :)

As far as my intentions for this journal go, that would be a short but fairly complete introduction about my current doings and interests.
If you are not satisfied, sue me... (actually, leave a comment instead :P)

No, I'm not in an emo mood or anything like that (regarding the subject of this entry). I'm not really the blogger kind, so that's why i say it may be pretty much worthless. Content will be lacking at first, that's assured, but it is my intention to revert that tendency.

Now, about this being the "second" manifestation of this Blog, the simple answer is this: This is the second time i start writing on it.
Back in 2007 a shocking and unexpected situation made me inaugurate this Blog, which until that moment was laying empty waiting for a reason to be filled with entries. This situation was my father's sudden death one cold day of August (cold in both senses). I will not enter into details about his death, but knowing it was a heart stroke is enough for anyone to realize it was indeed sudden and unexpected.

His death inspired me to write a fairly long journal in this same blog back then, written in Spanish and with a grammatical quality I've been proud of as well as praised for.
I don't know if that was because of a sudden inspiration, or my complete determination to make a worthwhile journal on his honor. The point is that it made me open this Blog, and in a wonderful but gloomy way.

I've removed that entry and the those that followed it some time ago. It had certain names on it, alongside with my personal (and perhaps too frank) opinion for the corresponding bearers.
The next entries were typical blog material, and in this case nothing i would cry for losing.

It was not until two months ago that I decided to try it once again. The reason now it's quite different as it was back then, and so is its aim.
Given that I started being recurrent on the furry fandom about midyear last year after years of simply lurking, and seeing most of the people I talk to giving this blog world a whirl, I simply though "Hell, why not?"

So here I am, re-inaugurating this humble space of mine, intending to fill it with my own experiences, achievements, opinions and whines, and all the usual content you can find on LiveJournal ;).

I will write another entry soon, acting as a quick introduction of myself and my doings for those who may not know me.

It's 4:00 am and I'm astonished I was able to write this long and this good.
See you later :)
